Under the aegis of BALIKA SHIKSHA FOUNDATION, Government of Rajasthan organizes ‘GARGI PURUSKAR SAMAROH’ every year to promote Girl Child Education. For the year 2018-19 the award ceremony was organized at Matrix High School at a very large scale.
The ceremony was marked by the presence of today’s chief guest Mr.Govind Singh Dotasara(Honorable Education Minister) Who addressed the gathering and marked the importance of education especially girls education in modern era.In his speech he presented a brief picture of educational developments made by the present government.
The ceremony was also marked by some eminent guests including
- Mr.Yagya Mitra Singhdev (District Collector)
- Mr.Surendra Singh Gour(Chief-DEO)
- Mr.Mukesh Kumar Mehta(DEO- HQ)
- Mr.Lalchand Nahalia ( DEO-Primary Education) and
- Mr. Hardayal Singh (ADEO)
The function was presided by Mr.Hardayal Singh who gave a brief introduction of the event and also presented vote of thanks for the valuable presence of today’s chief guest as well as other eminent guests.
On the whole,the event was a great success. Approximately 2,659 students were present to receive the cheques and certificates as a token of their academic achievement.
